Family left heartbroken as young man killed in horror Roscommon crash named locally

Funeral arrangements for Tadhg Cauneen from Roscommon have been confirmed after a horror crash on Friday.

The single-vehicle collision occurred on the N61 road at Four Mile Horse, with Mr Cauneen as the sole occupant of the vehicle when it smashed into a wall, according to a garda report.

Emergency services attended the scene, but Tadhg was pronounced dead before being moved to University Hospital Galway.

The young man will "be laid to rest by his loving mother Ursula and Tommy, brothers Gary and Eddie, nephews, uncles, aunts, extended family, relatives, and friends."

His removal will take place at his mother's home, before being moved to St. Mary's Church Carniska on Wednesday, August 4.
