UK-wide Stowe Family has invested in its first office in Wales.
The firm, established in 1982 and which has 28 offices, has expanded with a new office in Cardiff.
Stowe, whose other offices includes those in London, Bristol and Manchester, has appointed Jemma Slavin to head up its new Cardiff office as managing partner.
She is being supported by senior solicitor Joanna Newton and solicitors Rachel Fisher and Jessica Richards.
The team specialises in all aspects of family law including divorce, separation, cohabitation issues, nuptial agreements, arrangements for children and financial settlements.
Senior partner, Julian Hawkhead, said: “It is an important milestone in the development of Stowe to open our first office outside of England. The addition of an office in Cardiff enhances Stowe’s national footprint and prominence in the family law sector.”
Ms Slavin said: “I have practised family law for over 15 years, and I am thrilled to head up the Stowe office in Cardiff; the city in which I first qualified as a lawyer.
"We are looking forward to helping people with their family law matters across Cardiff and the surrounding areas.”
UK-wide the firm has 70 solicitors.
