Family issue heartfelt plea for help to find Belfast man who vanished in Glasgow

A family have issued a heartfelt plea for help to find a Belfast man who has vanished in Glasgow.

Ryan Castle is believed to have left the Euro Hostel on Clyde Street on Monday, but his family have been unable to make contact with him since.

The family of the 29-year-old say he was spotted in Dumfries yesterday around 4pm, but that Ryan did not let anyone know that he would be heading there.

They believe Ryan was last seen wearing a Rangers football top, a North Face jacket and jeans when he disappeared.

Sister Kyla Castle told The Daily Record that her sibling doesn’t have any clothes with him and has now been reported as missing to police in Northern Ireland.

She said: “We are sick with worry. He was spotted in a town called Dumfries on Thursday at around 4pm. But his phone is off.

“He didn’t let anyone in the family know he was going and he has no clothes with him. We just want Ryan to get in contact with his family because we are all worried sick.”

The paper have contacted the Police Service of Northern Ireland have been contacted for comment.
