Family increasingly concerned for missing Drumchapel man Stephen McPhail

The family of a 43-year-old man missing from his home in Drumchapel say his disappearance is ‘completely out character’.

Stephen McPhail, known as Stef, was last seen around 8.20am yesterday (Saturday, June 15) in Drumry Road East .

Inspector Paul Daley, of Partick Police Station , said: “Stephen’s family say that it is completely out of character for Stephen to disappear like this and they are becoming increasingly concerned as time passes. They urge him to get in contact to let them know that he is safe.”

Stef is 6ft2, stocky and bald with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey Adidas zipper jacket with a hood, black cargo trousers and trainers.

Inspector Daley added: “Local officers are making enquiries in the area in an attempt to find out where Stephen has gone since yesterday morning and I ask anyone who has seen him since 8.20 am on Saturday 15 June or anyone who knows of his present whereabouts to contact police at Drumchapel immediately via 101 quoting incident number 5396 of 15 June 2019.”
