Family hunting for 'cat-friendly, active and fun' nanny - and offering £85,000 salary

TV Supernanny Jo Frost certainly earned her corn as she travelled the world, sending unruly kids to the naughty step.

But if you want to make a super salary with less of the finger pointing and more of the perks then one couple could have the answer.

They are offering the right “nanny/manny” a bumper £85,000 a year to look after their daughter, aged four.

Not only would your wages be about £30,000 more than the average headteacher’s, you would also be given the run of a private apartment and the keys to your own car.

An advert for the post explains: “The family live in a beautiful property in Camden, North London.

“Professional parents... both have a hands-on family life with their little girl.

“They are keen to find an active, fun and down-to-earth new nanny.”

Candidates “must be cat-friendly” and duties will include covering the school run and taking the girl to and from her extra-curricular activities.

The mum of the house is expecting her second child early this year but the successful candidate will have the help of a maternity nurse “for the first few months”.

Oh, and you could even stay in their country retreat if you turn out to be as good as TV’s Supernanny.
