A family has been living a real life nightmare as a gang of brazen thieves targeted their house not once but twice in one week in terrifying southside incidents.
The residents at Wheatfield Road, Palmerstown had their home stormed by the group which saw their windows smashed and their door kicked in during the frightening ransackings.
These activities are coupled with a spate of suspicious activities that have been noticed in the surrounding estates.
Palmerstown Manor and Oakcourt estates have had reports of bogus workmen targeting residents in huge money-making scams.
A group warned locals: "Please be extra vigilant. Prowlers are back out and about.
"Keep an eye on your neighbours. Call 999 if you see or hear anything happening."
