The teenage motorcyclist who died in a horror crash in Donegal on Friday has been named locally as Finley Cole.
The 19-year-old was in a collision with an SUV before 2pm on Friday at Railway Road, Killygordon and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Finley was living in Donegal but was originally from Ballaghaderreen in Roscommon.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday in his Roscommon home where he will later be cremated.
A post on RIP.ie reads: "Finley. To the inexpressible grief of his partner and best friend Erica, his parents Paul, Maria, Vanessa and Paul his sisters, Alana, Josie and Alex, his brother Max, relatives and his many friends."
Gardai are still appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle that occurred at approximately 2:00pm this afternoon Friday, 10th December, 2021, on Railway Road, Killygordon, Co. Donegal.
"Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact them. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 9167100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
