Family has to get help after gas company sent them £18,000 bill for two months

Bernadette Hunt, known as Falcon from the TV show Gladiators, has died at the age of 59 after a long battle with cancer. Rick Jango, the partner of Falcon's sister, announced her death in a Facebook group.

Fans and colleagues alike have paid tribute to the TV star, with many praising her kind and friendly nature. Bernadette rose to fame on Gladiators in the 90s and remained a core part of the show until 1999, also making appearances on International Gladiators between 1994 and 1995.

In later years, she worked as a fitness instructor, after originally hoping to become a dancer but suffering a back injury.

A tribute alongside a photo of her read: "It is with great sadness that I have to tell you of my partner's younger sister Bernadette Hunt. Most people will remember her as Falcon From the hit TV Show Gladiators."

It continued: "I had the privilege to be in her company a few times & I have to say she was one of the most loveliest people I have ever met

"She never had a bad word to say about anyone, indeed she was always known a the nicest 'Gladiator' always stopping to speak & sign autographs for anyone.

"She had been battling cancer for a number of years until sadly she lost he fight R.I.P. Bernie".
