'WHITE BOY RICK'
Rated R for language throughout, drug content, violence, some sexual references and brief nudity.
What it's about: The incredible and tragic true story of a teen drug dealer in '80s Detroit.
The kid attractor factor: This won't really draw kids, but teens might be into the genre and story of a young man caught up in a life of crime.
Good lessons/bad lessons: Be careful who you trust, if they're criminals or law enforcement. Family is everything.
Violence: Some shootings, violent beatings, etc.
Language: Swearing and strong language throughout.
Sexuality: A couple of implied sex scenes and some nudity.
Drugs: Both selling and using drugs.
Parents advisory: This is too mature thematically for kids, but fine for teens.
'A SIMPLE FAVOR'
Rated R for sexual content and language throughout, some graphic nude images, drug use and violence.
What it's about: A suburban single mom befriends a stylish and mysterious woman who suddenly goes missing.

Good lessons/bad lessons: There is always more than meets the eye, and never trust a psychopath.
Violence: Some violence _ a shooting, a drowning, images of a dead body, etc.
Language: Swearing throughout.
Sexuality: A sex scene, some nudity, sexual references and a truly wild painting that depicts graphic nudity.
Drugs: On-screen marijuana and implied heroin use.
Parents advisory: Too mature for kid audiences in terms of sexuality and themes, but OK for mature teens.
