'TOM CLANCY'S WITHOUT REMORSE'
Rated R for violence.
What it’s about: Based on the 1993 book, it follows John Clark a Navy SEAL who becomes embroiled in a revenge plot and CIA conspiracy after his wife is murdered.
The kid attractor factor: Perhaps star Michael B. Jordan doing an action film.
Good lessons/bad lessons: Never trust the government
Violence: Extremely violent, from shooting and explosions to hand-to-hand combat and stabbing, grappling, strangling. Includes the shooting murder of a young pregnant woman. Exceptionally violent though strangely bloodless.
Language: Swearing throughout
Sex: None
Drugs: None
Parents’ advisory: While it may be fun to curl up with an action movie on Amazon Prime, this one is quite dark and grisly.

'FOUR GOOD DAYS'
Rated R for drug content, language throughout and brief sexuality.
What it’s about: Based on a true story, told in a Washington Post article, a mother and daughter struggle to contain the daughter's opioid addiction.
The kid attractor factor: Not much, this is a real adult drama with adult issues of drug use. Perhaps younger audiences will be interested if they've been affected by the opioid epidemic.
Good lessons/bad lessons: Never lose faith in a person's ability to change.
Violence: Screaming and hysteria, a perilous situation at a drug house
Language: Swearing and strong language throughout.
Sex: A discussion of sex work and one moment of depicted sex acts on screen.
Drugs: As it's a movie about opioid addiction, not one moment isn't about drugs, specifically heroin. It's throughout, though there are no graphic depictions of heroin use, or other drugs, just discussion.
Parents’ advisory: A mature film with mature themes, not for younger audiences unless a younger person is specifically interested in the issue, or may have been affected. This is a heartfelt representation of loving someone with an addiction.
