What it's about: A jaded magazine writer is sent to profile the iconic Fred Rogers, who befriends him and changes his life.
The kid attractor factor: This is an adult drama, but Rogers always believed kids can handle the tough parts of life too.
Good lessons/bad lessons: You don't have to hold onto hate on behalf of someone else's suffering. It doesn't help.
Violence: A wedding brawl.
Language: Some mild swearing.
Sex: None.
Drugs: None.
Parents' advisory: While littler kids will not be able to sustain interest, this is a beautiful film about empathy and learning to change that could be a great lesson for younger audiences.
