Rated PG for action and rude humor.
What it's about: Gru and the Minions are the back, this time battling '80s super-villain Balthazar Bratt, with the help of Gru's long lost twin brother, Dru.
The kid attractor factor: Well it's an animated family friendly comedy, and it features favorite characters the Minions _ it's kid-nip.
Good lessons/bad lessons: Family comes above everything else, even when family members are hard or challenging.
Violence: Some action-adventure style violence _ car and boat chases, giant lasers, menacing bubble gum, space blasters.
Language: No swearing, but some bawdy jokes on behalf of the Minions.
Sexuality: No real sexuality, but there are a couple of flirtatious suggestive moments, especially with the Minions who can get away with it as featureless, yellow blobs.

Parents advisory: A wild adventure ride appropriate for most kids.
