'GRETA'
Rated R for some violence and disturbing images.
What it's about: A young woman finds herself in a dangerous stalking relationship with an older woman after she returns a lost purse.
The kid attractor factor: Young star Chloe Grace Moretz may draw young audiences, as well as the horror genre.
Good lessons/bad lessons: Be careful to whom you open yourself up to ... and draw boundaries early and often.
Violence: A particularly gruesome severing and beating, shooting, drugging, kidnapping, confinement, etc.
Language: Some strong language.
Sexuality: None.
Drugs: None.
Parents advisory: This campy paranoid horror thriller is just gruesome enough to make this for teens only.
'CLIMAX'
Rated R for disturbing content involving a combination of drug use, violent behavior and strong sexuality, and for language and some graphic nudity.
What it's about: The latest from notorious French provocateur Gaspar Noe uses his wild style to depict the worst dance party ever, after a dance company discovers the sangria's been spiked with LSD.
The kid attractor factor: Teens might be attracted to the dance element and cool style.
Good lessons/bad lessons: Always know what's in your drink, kids. And if it starts to go haywire, get out of there.
Violence: Violence escalates extremely as the trip gets worse _ self-mutilation, beatings, child endangerment, self-harm, etc.
Language: Strong language throughout. (In French, subtitled in English.)
Sexuality: Graphic sex and nudity, as well as the broaching of sexual taboos that is morally extreme (and illegal).
Drugs: Did you hear about the LSD punch? There's also cocaine use depicted.
Parents advisory: This is not for the faint of heart, even if you're fully grown. Definitely for mature teens only.
