'SLEIGHT'
Rated R for language throughout, drug content and some violence.
What it's about: A street magician uses his skills to get out of bad situations with local drug dealers.
The kid attractor factor: The young star Jacob Latimore, is almost a superhero in training with his powers of sleight of hand. The genre elements will attract teen audiences.
Good lessons/bad lessons: There are better ways to make money than dealing drugs. Stand by your loved ones and believe in yourself _ there's always a way to figure out problems.
Violence: Some brutal beatings and one instance of amputation that is gory and disturbing.
Language: Swearing and strong language throughout.
Sexuality: A kiss between young lovers, but nothing graphic.
Drugs: Selling and using of hard drugs.
Parents advisory: While an instance of extreme violence and use of strong language tips "Sleight" over into R-rating territory, the film is oriented toward younger audiences, and will be appealing to teens.
