"AMERICAN MADE"
Rated R for language throughout and some sexuality/nudity.
What it's about: The life story of Barry Seal, a drug smuggler working for the government in the '80s.
The kid attractor factor: Tom Cruise's star power might draw teens, but this is an adult-skewing film.
Good lessons/bad lessons: You can get away with just about anything when you're everybody's friend (bad lesson).
Violence: Some shooting, dramatic flight scenes, a car explosion.
Language: Strong language used throughout.
Sexuality: A few sex scenes, no graphic nudity, except Tom Cruise mooning the camera several times.
Drugs: He's a drug smuggler ... yeah, there are drugs. Talk of drugs, smuggling drugs, dropping drugs in a swamp, doing drugs. All cocaine.
Parents advisory: Kids probably won't be drawn to this, but it would be OK for most mature teens.
