'UGLYDOLLS'

Rated PG for thematic elements and brief action.

What it's about: A few factory reject dolls known as "Uglydolls" invade the land of perfection in the hopes of finding a few children to love.

The kid attractor factor: The animated style, the pop star vocal stylings and familiarity with the brand.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Everything that makes you different makes you unique and special _ embrace and love everything about yourself.

Violence: A few mild chase scenes.

Language: None.

Sexuality: None.

Drugs: None.

Parents advisory: This is such a tame animated film _ appropriate for kids of all ages.

'LONG SHOT'

Rated R for strong sexual content, language throughout and some drug use.

What it's about: A powerful female politician, secretary of state, falls for her speechwriter, an old friend.

The kid attractor factor: Teens may be drawn to the raunchy comic elements and romantic tale.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Don't tone yourself down _ be yourself, own it, and never be ashamed. Tell the truth and stick to a moral code, but always try and see things from another's perspective.

Violence: A few nasty falls.

Language: Swearing and strong language throughout.

Sexuality: Some sex scenes and a graphic gross-out sexual moment.

Drugs: References to drug use as well as on-screen drug use.

Parents advisory: This raunchy romantic comedy is appropriate for teens only.
