What it’s about: A young fashion student forges a psychic connection with an aspiring singer in 1960s London, in this splashy neon slasher film.

The kid attractor factor: Teens might be drawn to the horror genre and young stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Thomasin McKenzie.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Violence: Some terrifying bloody violence and supernatural horror elements.

Language: Some swearing

Sex: References to sex, sex work, some sexual scenes and encounters

Drugs: Drinking, smoking, a reference to cocaine use.

Parents’ advisory: This is pretty graphic and violent, okay for teens but not kids.

Drugs: References to drug addiction

Parents’ advisory: This is incredibly violent and disturbing. Not appropriate for children.
