What it's about: A mute woman falls in love with a mysterious amphibian man in a Cold War-era government facility.
The kid attractor factor: This horror-love story is fantastically creative and may draw teens, but likely not kids.
Good lessons/bad lessons: Love is greater than hate or destruction.
Violence: Some moments of bloody violence _ shooting, cattle prods, torture, etc.
Language: Strong language throughout.
Sexuality: Graphic female and male nudity, masturbation, a few graphic sex scenes and references to sex.
Drugs: None.
Parents advisory: This film is beautiful and poignant, but too graphic in regard to sex and violence for younger audiences. Appropriate for mature teens only.
