'YOU WON'T BE ALONE'

Rated R for violence and gore, sexual content, graphic nudity, and sexual assault.

What it’s about: A young woman in a 19th-century Macedonian village is transformed into a witch, and she spends her lifetime attempting to live among the other villagers in disguise.

The kid attractor factor: Not much. This is an artsy folk-horror film.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Life can be horrible, and yet beautiful at that same time.

Violence: Some extreme gory and bloody violence, killings, stabbings, blood-drinking. Marital rape.

Language: No swearing.

Sex: Several graphic sex scenes and nudity.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: This is quite a mature and advanced film. OK for mature teens.
