"THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE"

Rated R for strong violent content, language throughout, some sexuality, drug material and brief nudity.

What it's about: The story of several solders from Operation Iraqi Freedom, returning home to family struggles and PTSD in 2007.

The kid attractor factor: Star Miles Teller

Good lessons/bad lessons: Leave no man behind; it's OK to ask for help and receive it; relief can come from releasing strong emotions.

Violence: Some very gory and bloody violence during the Iraq scenes, shootings, an onscreen suicide, bloody hallucinations, gun use.

Language: Some strong language throughout.

Sexuality: A few sex scenes without graphic nudity, discussions of sex among men.

Drugs: References and use of MDMA, onscreen use of marijuana, drinking, etc.

Parents advisory: This film has some mature themes but a strong message about taking care of our soldiers. Appropriate for mature teens.
