Family-friendly games arcade Playnation opens in Bristol city centre

A brand new family-friendly games arcade has opened in Bristol city centre.

Located just outside Cabot Circus in Broadmead , Playnation offers customers ‘high-tech family-focused entertainment.’

Although the arcade is mainly geared at families, it aims to attract ‘fun-lovers of all ages,’ with ‘genuine destination appeal.’

Fun-seekers can hone their skills on state-of-the-art virtual reality gaming or enjoy more traditional arcade attractions like air-hockey.

The store now occupies the site of the recently closed Gamecube Bristol. Much like Playnation, this also offered visitors a nostalgic slice of the seaside, in the heart of the city.

Playnation operations director, Stuart Green, says the store hopes to establish itself as an ‘unmissable high street destination’ for Bristol's 535,000 inhabitants.

The company say it is committed to customer service and hopes Playnation will become ‘an essential part of any family trip’ for visitors to the city centre.
