She said: "We have spoken over the phone and we are going to meet at some point.

"She is going to meet my dad in the next few days. She was so lovely and humble, just very modest."

The incident happened at around 2am on Sunday, September 22 and Hamid was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital before being taken to the Freeman Hospital where he underwent heart surgery and had a stent fitted.

Doctors found a blockage in one of his main arteries and he was in intensive care for three day.

The woman comes from a medical background, she said, and was also helped by a friend who was a paramedic.

Natasha added: "We didn't know this at the time but she had a friend who works with the ambulance service who was with her and helped.

"We are just so grateful to her and the paramedic. We are just really happy to have been able to speak to her."
