Family festival Fun in the Sun is returning to Birkenhead this summer

Birkenhead Park is welcoming back Fun in the Sun Festival this summer for an entire day of music, entertainment and drink.

On Sunday, July 14, the festival will take over the park and give families the chance to enjoy the day together.

There will be a whole host of entertainment, including a performance from X Factor star Sam Bailey, four-piece rock band Insanity Beach, Welsh singer Liss Jones, and popular DJ Ed Interi.

The festival returns for the first time since 2016, and aims to raise money for Evans Syndrome UK, a charity dedicated to supporting those with the rare blood disorder.

This year, the festival will feature live music, arts and crafts stalls, a range of funfair attractions, and plenty of food and drink outlets.

Entry to the festival costs between £4 and £6, and tickets can be booked now via Ticket Quarter .
