Family fear for missing man last seen walking out of Glasgow Central

Police are becoming concerned for the welfare of a man last seen leaving Glasgow Central train station.

Robert Rennie left his home in Troon last Thursday saying he intended to travel to the city. His family hasn't heard from him since.

The 48-year-old is 6ft 2ins tall with a medium build and he was heading towards Hope Street as he left the station at 1.25pm on July 9.

Robert was wearing a grey shirt, dark denim jeans, navy trainers and was carrying a brown satchel at the time.

Police Inspector William Campbell said: “Enquires are ongoing to trace Robert to ensure he is safe and well.

“If anyone has any information about his whereabouts or if Robert is reading this then please get in touch as soon as possible.

"Anyone who may have seen Robert since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland."

Call police on 101 with information using  incident number 2033 of July 11.
