Family devastated after death of mum-of-two, 26, who had suffered from bullying

A family has been left "devastated" after the death of a much-loved mum who took her own life having previously suffered from bullying.

Lucy Murphy, a popular and loving mum of two children, went missing from her home in Coulby Newham, Teesside, on Wednesday, February 19.

Police began looking for the 26-year-old but tragically her body was found the next day on land near a  local primary school.

Attempts to revive her sadly failed, reports TeessideLive.

The inquest was heard at Teesside Coroners court (Evening Gazette)

An inquest at Teesside Coroner's Court on Friday was told that Ms Murphy, who worked as a mobile hairdresser, had suffered "bullying" throughout her life

She had attempted to gain help from social services and mental health services on "numerous occasions".

However, her family claim she did not receive the help she sought.

Assistant coroner, Karin Welsh, ruled Ms Murphy's death as suicide.

Before her funeral in March, her family described her as a “beloved” daughter, “adored” sister and “treasured” mam.
