Family concerned for 36-year-old Edward Kelly missing from Dun Laoghaire for three days

UPDATE: 18:55: Edward Kelly, 36 years old, has been located safe and well.

Gardai have thanked the public for their assistance in the matter.

The family of a 36-year-old man missing from Dun Laoghaire are concerned for his welfare.

Gardai have an appeal to the public for information on Edward Kelly who has been missing since Thursday, June 20.

Edward was last seen on Aston Quay walking towards College Green, Dublin 2 at around 9.30pm that day.

When last spotted, he was wearing a short sleeve t-shirt and jeans. Edward is 6ft and is of an athletic build with blond/red hair and blue eyes.

A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí in Pearse Street are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 36 year old Edward Kelly who is missing from Dun Laoghaire since Thursday 20th June, 2019.

"Edward was last seen on Aston Quay walking towards College Green, Dublin 2 on Thursday 20th June, 2019 at approximately 9.30p.m.

"He is described as being 6ft in height, athletic build with blond/red hair and blue eyes. When last seen he was wearing a short sleeve t-shirt and jeans.

"Edward's family and Gardaí are concerned for him and any persons with information on Edwards whereabouts should be report to Pearse Street Garda Station on 01 - 6669000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
