A family run company had their scaffolding robbed on Sunday afternoon.
Tommy Graham Scaffolding suffered the theft at Murdoch Court in Troon.
But nearby residents spotted the culprits in the act and managed to get some snaps of the thieves in action.
A clear view of the pick up van can be spotted.
And despite an attempt to disguise the registration with electrical tape, it can be read SD62 OJS.
Now the company have put up a £500 reward for anyone that comes forward with information that can help get the scaffold back or catch who done it.
The company have posted an appeal for information on their Facebook page which has received around 200 shares.
And Tommy’s wife Lauren said: “We are a small family company and unfortunately scaffold isn’t cheap so either way this theft will cost us thousands.
“Hopefully getting this story out there will help us get it back.”
