The worried family of a missing mum-of-five today made an impassioned plea for her to come home or "let us know you are safe."
Carol Mighall has not been seen by her relatives since she walked out of her home in Birkenhead on January 4, three weeks ago.
The 51-year-old had had a slight disagreement with her son and was seen on CCTV in a convenience store on Rodney Street in the Wirral town centre.
Carol had bought a litre bottle of vodka and 20 cigarettes and then headed in the direction of Birkenhead Central Station.
Her family said the full-time family carer had been suffering with anxiety and depression over the last 18 months, connected to the menopause.
David Doyle, Carol's long-term partner, told the ECHO: "Her mental state had changed, she used to be a happy, bubbly person.
"But in the last one-and-a-half years, she's not gone out much.
"With Carol being missing, I feel a piece of me isn't here."

Daughter Kayleigh, 31, said: "It's the not knowing which is the hardest.
"It's like mum is playing a game of hide and seek and she's really good at it."
Concern is growing over Carol's disappearance, particularly given it is lockdown and the very cold weather during the past few days.
Family members have been looking for her most days and put up posters around Birkenhead.
There have been up to 22 possible sightings of Carol, of people fitting her description, but none of those have been confirmed.
She did not leave home with a mobile phone, but did take her son's bank card which has since been cancelled.

Carol is white, 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build and with a pale complexion.
She has brown shoulder length hair, often worn in a ponytail.
Carol was last seen wearing a khaki coloured parka-style coat with grey fur on the hood, blue jeans and black and white speckled trainers.
She was also carrying a black handbag with a shoulder strap.

In a direct message to Carol, partner David, 53, added: "We miss you, we love you, we want you to contact us, to know that you are okay.
"We can work through any problems."
Wirral Superintendent Martin Earl, of Merseyside Police, said: "We are really concerned about Carol and would appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
"If you have seen or spoke with Carol in the last weeks, get in touch with police.
"It's really cold out there, and with people going about with hoods up and face masks on, it's really difficult to see who people are.
"But if you do see her, speak to her and speak to us."
Carol has links to Birkenhead, Liverpool city centre and Chester.
