Family appeal for help to find missing veteran from Stalybridge

The family of a vulnerable veteran who is missing from home in Tameside are appealing for help to find him.

Jamie Stanley went missing from his home in Stalybridge at around 10am this morning (Friday).

The 31-year-old is described as 'vulnerable' and his family have 'serious concerns for his welfare'.

His mum told the M.E.N that police have been tracking his mobile phone data since he went missing.

The last signal that was picked up suggested Jamie was driving on the M62 towards Wakefield, she said.

He was last seen wearing black Under Armour jogging bottoms and a Berghaus coat.

He also has a grey Tommy Hilfiger jacket with him.

He was last seen driving his dark blue Mercedes Vito van. The registration plate is WX56 XOK.

The M.E.N has contacted Greater Manchester Police for a comment.
