Family 'anxious to locate' missing Dublin woman last seen leaving her apartment

Gardai have appealed to the public for help locating a 78-year-old Dublin woman who is missing from her home in Dublin 8.

Eileen Shortt was last seen leaving her apartment on Kevin St at approximately 8pm yesterday evening. Eileen’s family are concerned for her wellbeing and are anxious to locate her.

She is described as 5 foot 3 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair. When last seen she was wearing a grey jacket, black trousers and was carrying a black handbag.

A garda spokesman said: "Anyone with information that can assist Gardaí in locating Eileen is asked to contact Kevin Street Garda Station on 01 6669400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station."
