Family and friends worried for man, 34, missing for months

The family and friends of a missing man are worried after he was last seen months ago.

Ross Neiland, 34, of no fixed address but of Widnes, was last seen around the Mersey Road area in West Bank, Widnes, at around 12.30pm on Friday, April 23.

A Cheshire police spokeswoman said Ross is white, around 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build and with short light brown hair.

He may have facial hair.

Officers have urged anyone who has seen Ross or has any information regarding his whereabouts to get in touch.

Detective Constable Jordan Trentini said: “A number of enquiries have been underway to find Ross since he was first reported missing in April.

“We had been following every piece of information in order to track him down but unfortunately we have not been able to.

“Officers have been continuing to search for Ross since he was reported missing but to no avail.

“We are now appealing for the public’s help in finding him and would urge anyone in or around the Widnes area who thinks that they may have seen Ross since he went missing to get in touch with us.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Ross, please contact us to let us know you are safe as your family and friends are worried about you.”

Anyone with information or footage that may help officers find Ross is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary immediately on 101, quoting IML 997271 or report it via https://www.cheshire.police.uk/ro/report
