Family and friends increasingly concerned for missing woman's welfare

The family and friends of a missing woman are increasingly concerned about her welfare as police appeal for help to trace her.

Rowan Dunsmore, 35, has been missing since Wednesday November 3 but a sighting of her was reported at around 5am on Friday.

She was last spotted on Dumbarton Road, near Dyke Road in the west end of Glasgow, according to Police Scotland.

Rowan has been described as 5ft 7ins in height, of a medium build and with long brown hair.

The 35-year-old was wearing a dark coloured hooded top, jogging trousers and white trainers when she was last seen.

She had a "disheveled appearance" and also had a red or dark brown blanket worn over her shoulders.

Inspector Lesley Docherty from Partick Police Station said: "Rowan's family and friends are very concerned for her welfare.

"We are carrying out searches and enquiries to trace her to ensure that she is safe and well.”

Anyone with information should contact 101, quoting reference number 0043 of Friday November 4 2021.
