Families with children with special needs can get free theatre tickets for The Lowry

Families with children with additional needs can get free tickets for theatre shows at The Lowry.

As part of a scheme to make theatre more accessible to those who may otherwise miss out, families can get access for up to three shows without paying a penny.

The Booth Charities Family Scheme is open to people living in Salford, who have a child with a disability or additional need and is under the age of 11.

It's primarily aimed at those who have never been to the venue before, or have struggled to get there to see a show together as a family.

A spokesperson for The Lowry said: "We would like to hear from families of children with disabilities, or additional needs, who may have found it difficult to visit and experience live theatre."

Upcoming family shows at The Lowry include We're Going On A Bear Hunt, Tabby McTat, Justin Live, Dear Zoo and more.
