Families pay tribute to man and woman who died in horror crash in Cheshire

The families of a man and woman who died in a crash in Cheshire have paid tribute to them.

Gemma Gregory, 32, and Drew Pedley, 22, were pronounced dead at the scene of the smash.

The car they were in hit a tree in Marton, near Congleton, during the early hours of Sunday (September 27).

Gemma's parents said she 'will be missed by the whole family'.

They added: "Gemma was a special daughter who was taken too soon, she was a loving mother, sister and will be sadly missed by the whole family.

"Rest in peace."

Drew's parents said: “Drew was a Loving son to Suzanne Lawton and Andrew Whitehurst , brother to Dan and Dex and devoted partner to Chloe.

"He will be sadly missed by all.”

Cheshire Police have launched an investigation into the crash.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Anyone with any information or dashcam footage that may aid the investigation is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary on 101, quoting IML 814688, or give the details via  https://www.cheshire.police.uk/ro/report  .
