It's a hard time for everyone right now and families are trying to share some brightness in the world - with rainbows.
Children have been drawing and painting rainbows to put in the windows of their homes.
The idea is so that anyone taking a walk during the current coronavirus pandemic can spot them along their route - and spreads the message that we are all in this together.
Mum Rebecca Bennett has been creating rainbows with her daughters Emma, five, and nine-year-old Katie.
She runs the Facebook group for Lark Hill estate in Astley, Wigan, where families have all been displaying their designs in the windows.
She said: "As an estate we have decided to bring a little happiness to a hard situation. People are loving the windows, young and old, and we've had loads of comments on the group about our window and people posting theirs. We have also had orders for rainbows off people with no children."
Five-year-old Charlotte Higgerson has also been busy painting her rainbow for the window of her home in Helmshore, Rossendale.
Mum Amanda said: "Children in our village are painting rainbows to put up in their front windows as a trail for each other and to cheer everyone up. Charlotte has loved getting involved."
