Sept. 2 marks the launch of Fallout 76's Patch 62 update, and there's a CAMP revamp we all get to enjoy.

The focus for this update looks to help players build more freely and establish the buildings they want. Specific key changes have been made to aid the process.
Item Snapping
Players can now toggle item snapping on and off, allowing more flexibility in building and placements. You can now build walls beneath floors. Similarly, floors can be attached to them without the need to build stairs.
Placement restrictions
Some items still require ground placement, but the restrictions have been loosened for others. Yes, you can even place certain items in the air if you want, as bizarre as that might look.
Workshop 2.0
The Workshop menu has been refreshed to focus on findability and organization. This new UI aims to make it easier for players to find the C.A.M.P. items they need. This will help you craft new rooms quickly and place things more easily.
Additionally, Bethesda invites the community to showcase their creativity between Sept. 2 and Sept. 29. There will be various C.A.M.P. competitions held throughout the year. The first one allows you to share screenshots of your creations and try to take your place on top.
The patch is available on all platforms for free, and all you have to do is update your in-game client to the latest version.
