Falkirk Wheel customer leaves hilarious review complaining 'boat ride' goes too slow

A disgruntled customer has left a hilarious review of The Falkirk Wheel complaining the "boat ride" goes "awfully slowly" - leaving social media users in stitches.

And they didn't quite stop there, adding they expected something "further and faster" with views from the top "not special" for the customer.

The tourist attraction, operated by Scottish Canals, is the only rotating boat lift of its kind in the world connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal.

More than 5.5 million visitors have taken a trip to visit The Wheel since it was opened by the Queen in 2002.

The whole experience take around 35 minutes, quite clearly not fast enough for some.

Responding to the review, one person said: "It's not Alton Towers ffs, what were you expecting folk to be shouting over a mic scream if you want to go faster?

Another said: "Howling at this, it's designed to connect two canals, not exactly theme park ride.

A third wrote: "Best thing I've read in a long time. What were they expecting? A ride on the Pepsi Max?"
