Falkirk has pretty much returned to normal after months of lockdown and coronavirus restrictions.

North Star Bar

What did the reviews say? "Wish I had found North Star before now, though my waste line would disagree. Hands down best pizza I've tasted. Been a massive pizza fan my whole life and I'm always on the look out for new ones to try. Don't need to look anymore. Amazing"

Sportsters

What did the reviews say? "I visited Sportsters with a group of friends and the service was excellent. We were served all evening by Was, who was very attentive and very friendly. Consider the current pandemic the staff made us feel very much at ease."

Elsewhere someone complained about waiting too long on drinks.
"Service was shocking. Ordered drinks waited half an hour so asked if they had been put through and was told yes and that they were on their way to then be waiting an hour to find out that they had not been put through. Someone eventually came to take the order again and then waited another half an hour to one drink to come.

What did the reviews say? " A great meal, with great service. Food was spot on for all of our party. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening."
That wasn't everyone's thoughts though.
Another said: "Normally love the Oxgang and have visited often throughout the years but tonight was a real disappointment. Service was so slow (an hour from ordering to being served) and food was awful.
