Gale force winds and snow will hit Falkirk this weekend, with residents being warned to batten down the hatches.
According to a BBC weather forecast there'll be snow showers across the district on Saturday morning, before turning out to be a sunny day but very cold with highs of just 3C.
80mph winds are also expected in some parts of the country on Friday and Saturday due to an Arctic blast expected to hit Scotland this week.

A Met Office spokesperson said: "The strongest winds will arrive across northern Scotland during Friday afternoon before developing further south through the evening across the rest of Scotland, Northern Ireland and some exposed coasts of northern England.
"The location and strength of the very strongest winds remains uncertain.
"However, gusts seem likely to reach 50 to 60 mph widely, with 70 to 80 mph possible in coastal locations, particularly in parts of Scotland."
