Falkirk residents asked to donate bottled water to Scottish SPCA Wildlife Centre

A water supply issue at the Scottish SPCA's National Wildlife Centre has left staff and animals unable to drink from their taps.

Falkirk residents are being asked to donate bottled water to the centre in Fishcross, Clackmannanshire.

Animals welfare bosses have issued an appeal on social media asking for urgent help.

The post reads: "We are experiencing issues with our water supply. We are in desperate need of bottles of water for our animals and staff to drink.

"We are asking for larger bottles to reduce the amount of waste but we would be happy with anything anyone can spare.

"Please find our Amazon wishlist here https://amzn.to/3aU5Cat or items can be ordered from any other online retailer who delivers.

"Water can also be dropped in the donation bins outside the centre at Fishcross, Alloa FK10 3AN.

"Thank you so much in advance."

The cause of the supply issue is not yet known.
