Falkirk nightclub introduces StopTopps after Scottish spiking incidents

A Falkirk nightclub has introduced special lids for customers' drinks after reports of spiking incidents in Scotland over the past few months.

Temple is dishing out StopTopps, which are little bits of foil that can be used to cover the tops of glasses, with a hole for a straw.

The nightclub says it's all part of the venue's safety measures and responsible operating - in the hope it'll make customers feel safer.

They're free and available to anyone.

A post on the venue's Facebook reads: "As part of our venue safety measures and responsible operating we have StopTopps available behind all of our bars to ensure our customers safety.

"They are free, please ask any member of staff."
