Falkirk Kelpies Supernova 5K challenge to raise money for youth homelessness announced

A Supernova 5K challenge at the Falkirk Kelpies to help raise money for youth homelessness has been announced.

Participants should wear fluorescent clothing, grab anything that glows or flashes and will also receive an LED head torch.

Runners of all ages and abilities will run around the lit-up Kelpies to create a stunning light display on Sunday November 14.

Rock Trust, a charity which tackles youth-specific homelessness in Scotland has secured places for the event which begins at 7pm.

All those taking part have been asked to raise a minimum of £200 which will go towards supporting 500 young people every year.

Those unable to attend the Falkirk Kelpies Supernova 5k challenge or want to run longer can tackle the virtual challenge instead.

For more information, to receive a fundraising pack or to secure your place, please visit the Rock Truest website here.

Alternatively, you may call Rock Trust Scotland on 0345 222 1425 or email them at events@rocktrust.org.
