A man, 60, named locally as John, was discovered dead by firefighters inside the bungalow.

A Police spokesperson said: "Around 8.20pm on Thursday 8 April 2021 officers were called to a report of a fire at a property on Wilson Gardens, Falkirk.

"Emergency services attended and a 60-year-old man was pronounced dead.

"There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
