Falkirk has had 400 native trees donated to it on behalf of the community in an effort to reduce carbon levels.
Inspire Denny and Dunipace, who are a small group of local residents who help keep the area looking good, announced the news.
They said: "The trees will encourage biodiversity and wildlife in the area behind the cemetery near the high school, providing additional cover for deer, squirrels and birds while still leaving plenty of grassy areas for dog walkers to explore and enjoy."
The donation is the result of charity The Conservation Volunteers' 'I Dig Trees' project in collaboration with Ovo Energy.
They aim to have two million trees in the ground by the end of this planting season across Britain to help the environment.
Inspire Denny and Dunpiace added: "We’re going to need a lot of helpers to plant the trees once they arrive though, so watch this space for further announcements!"

It comes as world leaders and other delegates from across the world gather in Glasgow for the COP26 climate change conference.
