Cars enthusiast are being warned to expect an increased police presence at tonight's Falkirk Cruise event.
A large gathering of racers is expected in the area later.
Officers say they'll have numerous traffic cops along with an air support team to crack down on any irresponsible driving.
The monthly event has sparked outrage from locals who live nearby, with many saying it's causing them stress and leaving them unable to sleep at night.
They've taken to social media, with a tweet by FalkirkPolice saying: "Local officers, supported by roads policing officers and the Police Scotland Air Support Unit and Drone Unit will be attending the Falkirk Cruise this evening.
"Officers will engage with participants to ensure that this is a safe event."
