Police have issued a warning to people across Falkirk district about a new scam that's doing the rounds urging targets to get a free Omicron PCR test to avoid coronavirus restrictions.
The email - which looks like it has come from the NHS - warns that the new variant spreads more quickly, and makes current vaccines less effective.
However, that's something scientist are still looking into to and yet to confirm.

Health bosses say they would never send an email, phone call or text message and that any official correspondence would be done via post.
In a tweet, Falkirk Police said: "A new scam email offering 'Omicron PCR tests' has been reported - it includes a link to request a 'free' test which leads to a scam NHS website designed to collect your details.
