Falkirk climate change quiz planned to raise awareness of environmental challenges

A climate change quiz is due to be held in Falkirk to raise awareness of what can be done to tackle the environmental emergency.

It will be held between 1-2pm on Thursday August 19 at the Forth Valley Sensory Centre (FVSC) on Redbrae Road in the Camelon area of Falkirk.

FVSC is a charity supporting people with hearing or sight loss in Forth Valley as well as their family and friends who are aged over 16.

The Centre is owned and run by Forth Valley Sensory Centre Trust, a partnership between Falkirk Council, NHS Forth Valley, RNIB Scotland, RNID and Stirling Council.

The event will be BSL interpreted and the centre prides itself on being both inclusive and accessible to everyone.

The afternoon will be largely informal with time for a catch up and cup of tea as well as a discussion on climate issues.

Anyone who wants to come along, can let a FVSC staff member know, email saraburns@forthvalleysensorycentre.org or call or text 07719916050.
