Falkirk chip shop boss to stand trial accused of sexually assaulting teenage girls

A chip shop boss is to face trial accused of touching teenage girls in his fish bar.

Francesco Falcone, 46, is said to have sexually assaulted three 15-year-old girls by touching them on the hips and waist, slapped two of them on the buttocks, and asked them questions of a sexual nature.

To one of them, he is said to have made remarks about her appearance.

He is also said to have sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl by grabbing her breasts, and directed sexual verbal communications over a two-and-a-half year period to a fifth girl, who was aged between 14 and 17 at the time.

The alleged incidents are said to have taken place between November 2019 and April this year (2022) at Falcone's Fish Bar in North Main Street, Carronshore, Falkirk.

For legal reasons, none of the girls can be identified.

At Falkirk Sheriff Court, Falcone, of Larbert, Stirlingshire, co-director of The Falcone Food Comany Ltd., pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.

Sheriff Simon Collins QC set trial for September 16th (2022).
