Falcons waive RB Jeremy Langford

The Atlanta Falcons waived running back Jeremy Langford on Tuesday. Langford was on the team’s injured reserve list.

After Chicago picked him in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL draft, Langford played 28 games in two seasons for the Bears. He posted 737 rushing yards on 210 carries and scored 10 touchdowns during that time. From there, Langford made several stops around the NFL.

He was on the practice squads for the Ravens, Jets and Dolphins before the Falcons signed him to their own in 2018.

Langford was activated late in December and played Week 17 against the Buccaneers, but managed just 25 yards on nine carries.
