The Falcons continue to tweak their 2019 roster after Saturday’s initial cuts from 90 players to 53.
After making the initial 53-man roster, fullback Ricky Ortiz has been waived. To fill his role, Atlanta signed former Raiders fullback Keith Smith to a one-year deal.
The team also made two additions to their practice squad in wide receiver Brandon Powell and safety Jamal Carter. That brings the Falcons’ practice squad total up to nine players, leaving one spot open.
